Redefining Home, Preserving Habitat

The MISSION of the Canadian-based International Migration and Environmental Film Festival (IMEFF) is to create a platform that showcases the best films on migration and environmental sustainability, and to raise awareness and educate the public on these important issues. The festival aims to bring together filmmakers, activists, experts, and communities to discuss the challenges and opportunities in these fields and to find innovative solutions to address these global issues.

And so thrilled as this just in from IMEFF:

We are pleased to inform you that your film Thinking Like Water has been officially selected to be screened at the International Migration & Environmental Film Festival (IMEFF) 2024. which will take place from October 9-15, 2024.

Congratulations!  This year’s festival will be held virtually from October 9-15, 2024, allowing audiences worldwide to experience and engage with the important themes your film explores. Additionally, we are excited to announce plans for an in-person event in 2025, with dates to be announced soon. We hope to celebrate with you in person next year.

As an official selection, your film will be showcased alongside other outstanding works that have been carefully curated to reflect this year’s festival theme “Redefining Home, Preserving Habitat” Your film has been chosen because it exemplifies the artistic, technical, and storytelling qualities that the festival aims to promote.
